The Devlog's Start - Steele

The Start

Hello and welcome to our first post of the official Hangoutitude devlog. Here you will be able to follow our journey in the creation of our NYU Master thesis Hangoutitude. The project was started back in September by Alex and Steele shortly joined after. This blog picks up about 4 months into the project's life and will catalogue the weekly production and theory focuses of the project. Here is our current working pitch of the game--what a joy it will be to be future us reading this and seeing how much has changed!

Our Elevator Pitch

Wysteria, the amnesiac daughter to the god of time, mysteriously awakens in the ruined clocktower of the town of Pendulum. The town has been frozen in time unbeknownst to its citizens, and it is up to her to put time’s arrow into motion once again. The only thing standing in her way is her subconscious tendency to skip time whenever danger arises. She must rely on her friends to guide her in the moments she loses control. Will the bonds you build through everyday life allow you to sail safely to peace or will your party sink under the pressure?
